About the Role
Aurora's mission is to provide data-driven intelligence to support the energy transition. We are seeking recent and upcoming college graduates to join our Graduate Analyst Program based in our Austin office. This program offers accelerated training, involvement in live client projects, and the opportunity to contribute to influential industry reports, developing your analytical, teamwork, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop market forecast reports and in-depth research on the future of energy systems.
- Execute bespoke consulting projects for clients, including valuations of energy assets and policy work.
- Contribute to influential industry reports used for market and policy insights.
- Update energy market models based on the latest assumptions on power demand, commodity prices, market activity, and policy.
- Prepare subscriber conferences and present in-depth market analysis.
- Collaborate with other teams on desk research and modeling.
- Work in project teams with Analysts, Project Managers, and Senior Associates.
- Rotate through Research and Advisory teams over an 18-month program.
- Move into a permanent position within one of the teams at the end of the program.
Requirements
- Final-year undergraduate or postgraduate student, or recent graduate.
- Available to start the program in July 2027.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex information.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with a range of people.
- Clear passion and interest for the energy industry.
- Evidence of strong quantitative skills.
- Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments and project management.
