About the Role

Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota's once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a history of inventing for others, our mission is to expand the definition of mobility, enhance its societal contributions, and challenge the status quo with people-centric innovation. We operate around four pillars: AD/ADAS, Arene (vehicle software production platform for SDVs), Woven City (mobility test course), and Cloud & AI (digital infrastructure). Essential business functions support these teams as we work together towards realizing a society free from accidents and maximizing happiness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, operation, and process improvement (Kaizen) of a robust governance system to protect the physical safety and valuable information assets of Woven City, without compromising the speed of experiments.
  • Promote the safe and smooth execution of diverse Proofs of Concept (PoCs) in Woven City.
  • Drive governance and risk management for PoCs.
  • Serve as the secretariat for company-wide crisis and confidentiality management.
  • Develop and operate the crisis management system, including regulations, operational procedures, and guidelines.
  • Lead initial response efforts during emergencies (natural disasters, accidents, cyberattacks, data breaches).
  • Facilitate rapid information gathering, establish dedicated communication channels, report to relevant departments, and support coordination for a unified response ('One Voice').
  • Plan and execute integrated operational tests and evacuation drills, and reflect lessons learned into processes.
  • Lead the application and auditing of the data classification policy within Woven City.
  • Manage access control matrices for shared folders and files in Google Workspace and conduct regular audits.
  • Support the establishment and operation of confidentiality management lead and frontline leader systems for each Function.
  • Develop root cause analysis and recurrence prevention processes for confidentiality incidents (e.g., information leaks due to misconfiguration).
  • Plan and manage explanatory sessions (Office Hours) and security education.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading crisis management operations (3-5 years).
  • Practical experience in developing and operating BCP/BCM (Business Continuity Plan/Business Continuity Management).
  • Experience in developing and operating crisis management manuals, escalation rules, and decision-making processes.
  • Experience in planning and executing crisis management simulation drills.
  • Experience in responding to incidents.
  • Experience in leading confidentiality management operations (3-5 years).
  • Experience in developing and operating data classification policies and security guidelines within an organization.
  • Practical experience in detailed access control design, access control, and audit operations, particularly within Google Workspace (Drive, Shared Drive).
  • Problem-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of security incidents and implement recurrence prevention measures.
  • Basic knowledge of information security (cybersecurity) and practical experience in security risk assessment and management during IT service and system implementation.
  • Native-level Japanese language proficiency.
  • Business-level English language proficiency.
