Responsibilities
- Support Salesforce implementation projects by understanding customer business challenges and objectives, and designing comprehensive solutions based on best practices.
- Participate in projects as an advisor to support customer/partner-led Salesforce construction projects.
- Execute Salesforce construction projects as a prime contractor.
- Focus on customer success, understand customer strategies, and drive projects.
- Provide optimal solutions centered on customer business needs, considering a broad and long-term perspective based on Salesforce Best Practices (standard functions, various knowledge).
- Determine the implementation policy for solutions that fit customer needs and business, lead development as an app lead, and take responsibility for delivering high-quality deliverables.
- Broadly handle the system implementation phase, including plan creation, requirement analysis, Fit & Gap assessment, development, and testing.
- Provide advice on the implementation or optimization of Salesforce applications based on customer needs, including functional or technical design reviews, project implementation guidance, best practice provision, and existing application configuration/health assessment.
- Manage projects, including creating work plans (WBS) and managing progress at the necessary granularity, regardless of the project type, to achieve high delivery quality.
- Beyond project scope, act as a Salesforce product expert to provide feasible and effective proposals for various customer challenges, and in some cases, indicate key points for successful customer innovation.
- Learn and utilize Salesforce best practices held globally, including in Japan, and contribute to the accumulation of knowledge based on personal experience.
- Quickly catch up on the latest technologies, including Salesforce's three annual product updates, and concurrently support customer projects.
- Communicate closely with customers and business partners to build trust and manage expectations.
- Collaborate with other role members such as Project Managers, Business Architects, and Technical Architects to achieve team success.
Requirements
- Over 4 years of experience in solution design/system development, including technical implementation, for general enterprise software solutions (CRM, ERP, etc.).
- Experience participating in IT system development projects, including identifying and executing tasks necessary for project execution.
- Implementation experience in Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.
- Consulting skills such as logical thinking and problem-solving.
- Documentation and presentation skills to logically and accurately convey opinions and solutions.
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously without waiting for instructions.
- Ability to continuously learn, learn humbly, and quickly apply learned knowledge for further improvement.
Skills
- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification
- Technical or administrator experience with Salesforce applications
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining hypothetical To-Be business and systems based on understanding of customer's current business and systems, and leveraging product standard functions, internal Best Practices, and similar systems.
- Experience creating measures and roadmaps for implemented solutions and supporting/promoting project creation.
- Experience supporting Salesforce product implementation for customers or internal departments.
- Experience with implementation/consulting using cloud solutions.
- Practical experience in a consulting firm.
- Experience building customer TO-BE models using best practices and reference architectures.
- English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Learning ability to obtain the following six certifications within the first three months of joining: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Application Builder, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect.
