Responsibilities

  • Lead the EHS roadmap for all domestic sites, ensuring seamless integration with international safety frameworks and corporate philosophy.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of the Crisis Management Plan (CMP), maintaining high effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide strategic advice and accelerate decision-making during critical situations such as security threats and environmental emergencies as a core member of the crisis management team.
  • Collaborate with diverse organizational units to build and synchronize comprehensive Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Spearhead sustainability plans to accelerate the organization's carbon neutrality initiatives.
  • Ensure strict compliance with legal requirements for occupational safety, fire prevention, and chemical management, proactively adapting to legislative changes.
  • Manage accurate records of environmental metrics and oversee appropriate reporting to regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with global safety personnel, facility management and security teams, and external partners to promote company-wide protection measures.
  • Maintain the consistency and availability of all environmental governance and procedural documentation.
  • Complete EHS-related projects with a commitment to strict timelines and budget management.
  • Advocate for robust traffic safety protocols and comprehensive well-being programs for all employees.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience working with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) vendors.
  • Over 10 years of practical work experience.
  • Native or fluent Japanese proficiency.
  • Fluent or advanced English proficiency.
