About the Role
MEDIVISE is seeking an IT System Administrator (Junior to Mid-Level) to technically support our systems, commission new locations, and take on increasing responsibility for our internal IT.
Responsibilities
- Technically set up new MEDIVISE systems, commission them, and support existing installations.
- Configure networks, Linux computers, displays, card terminals, and other hardware and control components.
- Set up the connection to the telematics infrastructure and test systems before commissioning.
- Analyze and resolve technical faults remotely or provide on-site support if needed.
- Work with our Ansible-based configuration and rollout process.
- Support our Microsoft 365 environment, as well as employee devices and access.
- Assist with technical onboarding and offboarding and manage workplace hardware.
- Document configurations and technical changes comprehensibly.
- Ensure systems can be reliably used in real-world healthcare settings after setup, testing, and release.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT system integrator or comparable technical qualification.
- Good fundamentals in network technology, especially IP, subnets, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and firewalls.
- Proficient in Linux command line usage.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, particularly user and rights management.
- Technical and manual understanding, with enjoyment in working with hardware.
- Willingness for occasional travel within Germany.
- Independent, structured, and meticulous work style.
- Sense of responsibility when handling sensitive health data.
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken, at least C1 level.
- First experiences with Docker and container technologies are advantageous.
- First experiences with Ansible or comparable configuration management tools are advantageous.
- First experiences with Microsoft Intune or other device management systems are advantageous.
- First experiences with UniFi, Securepoint, or comparable network and firewall hardware are advantageous.
- First experiences with telematics infrastructure, connectors, card terminals, or SMC-B are advantageous.
- First experiences with MQTT, KNX, Modbus, or other building and actuator technology are advantageous.
- First experiences with Bash or Python are advantageous.
- First experiences with Healthcare IT and digital care processes are advantageous.
