About the Role
ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer – Electrical to join our growing Substation teams. This role is crucial for designing, building, financing, operating, and maintaining the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The project involves constructing new transmission network infrastructure to connect significant wind and solar projects, delivering clean energy to millions of homes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality and environmental standards to ensure project delivery.
- Record non-conformances and drive corrective actions promptly.
- Prepare Inspection Test Reports and checklists meeting contract requirements.
- Plan materials, resources, and construction methods, solving problems to protect cost, quality, and schedule.
- Monitor progress and coordinate activities to keep the schedule on track.
- Ensure contract requirements are met at the crew level.
- Coordinate resources, track subcontractor performance, and lead daily cost planning.
- Build strong teamwork.
Requirements
- Previous experience working on substation projects is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of HS&E and regulatory requirements.
