About the Role
This is a unique leadership opportunity for a highly respected industry professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen, client relationship skills, and a passion for growing people and businesses. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, strengthening key client relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering high-quality consultancy and project management services.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development, client engagement and project delivery activities while growing Cushman & Wakefield's presence within your market.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering strategic advice across building condition, compliance, performance, risk, capital planning and asset management.
- Identify new opportunities, strengthen cross-service collaboration, mentor future leaders and contribute to the continued success of the national Building Consultancy team.
- Develop and execute market and sales strategies for your region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify new market opportunities and service offerings.
- Drive revenue growth and client retention initiatives.
- Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Lead proposal development and major client pursuits.
- Deliver technical building and asset advisory services.
- Undertake building condition audits and technical due diligence assessments.
- Provide strategic asset management and lifecycle planning advice.
- Prepare capital expenditure forecasts and maintenance plans.
- Deliver high-quality technical reports and recommendations.
- Scope and manage refurbishment, remediation, maintenance and upgrade projects.
- Oversee project governance, quality and risk management.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Provide strategic direction to project teams and stakeholders.
- Support the growth and development of Building Consultancy capability.
- Coach and mentor employees and emerging leaders.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build a high-performing and engaged team environment.
Requirements
- 15+ years' experience within the property, construction, engineering or building consultancy sector.
- Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role.
- Strong experience in business development, client management and revenue growth.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary projects and teams.
- Strong understanding of commercial, contractual and risk management principles.
- Established industry networks and market credibility.
