About the Role
Lead Zepto's combined Product and Solutions team, connecting company strategy, customer insight, and technical judgment to deliver focused priorities, high-quality products, and excellent customer experiences. This hands-on role, reporting to the Chief Product Officer, involves setting the pace for prioritization and delivery, working closely with customers, engineering, commercial, and the executive team.
Responsibilities
- Set Zepto’s product direction by translating company strategy and customer reality into a clear, coherent product direction.
- Own portfolio sequencing and make trade-off decisions.
- Build one integrated team by bringing Product and Solutions together.
- Ensure solutions engineering input shapes product decisions early.
- Create a lightweight operating cadence to improve decision speed, focus, and delivery predictability.
- Remove ambiguity and unblock work across the organization.
- Own the escalation path for complex customer implementations.
- Support world-class demos, proof of concepts, and technical discovery.
- Coach and grow a high-agency team of product and solutions professionals.
- Hire for ownership, technical capability, and customer understanding.
- Build a credible senior individual contributor path.
- Personally own at least one difficult, high-leverage problem at a time.
- Represent the CPO and Zepto at conferences, on panels, and in public.
- Play a hands-on role in integrating AI into how we work, ensuring processes are scalable, structured, and efficient.
Requirements
- Material experience across both product and solutions / technical delivery functions in a technically complex environment.
- A track record of taking products or significant product areas from problem definition through delivery and iteration, owning the outcome.
- Technical fluency to operate credibly among engineers.
- Comfortable with GitHub branches and pull requests.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to investigate system functionality.
- Confidence discussing architecture, security, performance, reliability, APIs, data flows, and integration patterns.
- Experience managing and developing senior people.
- Strong product judgment, commercial range, and clear written and verbal communication.
- A bias toward decisions and action.
- Background checks are conducted as part of the recruitment process.
