About the Role
The Marine Hull Liability Broker supports daily operations for the Shipowners Broking team, handling client and market communications, document creation, compliance assistance, and data entry. This role supports the end-to-end placement lifecycle for new business and renewals to maintain positive client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day servicing of accounts
- Issue policies and endorsements
- Assist in formulating submissions for insurance carriers
- Assist with quote comparative spreadsheets
- Issue compliance documentation
- Assist and coordinate responses to RFPs
- Organize internal, prospect, and client meetings
- Carry out surplus lines, market security, sanctions, and third-party payment procedures
- Support invoicing of all Shipowner accounts
- Follow up on invoicing and accounting inquiries
- Maintain updated account list
- Review and manage policy expiration list
- Learn and utilize WTW software and systems (ECLIPSE)
- Add/renew policy records in ECLIPSE
- Upload required documentation throughout placement
