About the Role
BINGO Industries is seeking a Trades Assistant for a Day Shift role at their Eastern Creek location. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company focused on revolutionizing the recycling and resource management industry.
Responsibilities
- Complete general operational and maintenance duties as instructed.
- Assist with assembly of equipment and area maintenance.
- Support the maintenance and operations team to meet deadlines.
- Perform manual labour to maintain and repair plant and equipment.
- Assist skilled trades employees in maintaining and repairing plant and equipment.
- Perform minor and basic repairs under supervision and following instruction.
Requirements
- Previous trades assistant, labouring or workshop experience highly desirable.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport recommended due to public transport restrictions.
- Demonstrate a pro-active attitude with an eye for detail, and willingness to work together to complete required tasks.
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime where required.
- Ability to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- A strong, safety focused work ethic.
