About the Role

TAR develops, builds, owns, and operates fully islanded solar and storage campuses that deliver firm power to AI data centers. This role owns financing execution end-to-end, taking live transactions from term sheet through diligence, documentation, and close. You will build and defend financial models, and drive the necessary parties to close deals on aggressive timelines. This is a high-ownership individual contributor position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financing execution across construction and term debt, tax equity and ITC transfer transactions, and equipment financing.
  • Drive term sheet negotiations and manage lender and counsel relationships through documentation and close.
  • Structure and document offtake and credit support arrangements, including PPAs and guarantees.
  • Build and own financial models for live deals, including debt sizing, DSCR waterfalls, tax equity economics, and returns.
  • Manage external counsel, financial advisors, and counterparty working groups.
  • Flag risks to senior leadership and push resolutions forward on deal timelines.
  • Design and stress-test capital structures across HoldCo, OpCo, and project SPV arrangements.
  • Analyze and negotiate equity-linked and warrant structures.
  • Own investor and lender materials, including investment memos and presentations.
  • Codify deal learnings into frameworks and playbooks.
  • Partner across development, power systems, procurement, legal, and policy teams.
  • Gather inputs, pressure-test commercial assumptions, and ground financing structures in operational reality.
  • Translate capital markets concepts for non-finance stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or a similar transaction-focused finance role.
  • Demonstrated experience owning significant workstreams on live transactions from diligence through close.
  • Deep financial modeling capability: able to independently build, audit, and pressure-test project finance models.
  • Proven ability to manage external advisors and counterparty workstreams.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting investment memos, term sheets, and board-level materials.
