About the Role
Design, build, and support high-quality ServiceNow solutions to enhance service delivery, automate business processes, and drive platform adoption. Play a key role in developing scalable platform capabilities that improve operational efficiency and user experience within the Infrastructure, Cloud & Workplace team. This is a hands-on engineering role collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions, influencing platform improvements, and supporting enterprise integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and document scalable ServiceNow applications, workflows, and platform components aligned with business needs and best practices.
- Translate business requirements into practical, sustainable technical solutions across ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities.
- Deliver workflow, service catalogue, and automation enhancements to improve service delivery and reduce manual effort.
- Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using approved patterns and technologies.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve defects to maintain platform stability and performance.
- Manage platform lifecycle activities, including releases, deployments, cloning, upgrades, and regression testing.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are secure, controlled, and fit for purpose.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver sustainable outcomes supported by quality documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience within a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on experience across ServiceNow development, including ITSM and modules such as GRC, ITAM, BCM, SecOps, Enterprise Architecture, or SPM.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting expertise, including Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Experience designing workflows, business rules, forms, catalog items, and automation solutions.
- Knowledge of API integrations and web technologies, including REST/SOAP, HTML, and CSS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical and efficient solutions for complex challenges.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia.
