About the Role

LawConnect is redefining how consumers access legal help by combining AI with a leading lawyer marketplace. Backed by a global legal tech company, we offer the stability of an established business with the speed and ambition of a well-funded startup. This role is crucial in driving growth and innovation within the legal industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own the SEO & growth roadmap, identifying opportunities, assessing their value, prioritizing development, and overseeing execution.
  • Drive growth initiatives for the self-serve consumer platform, addressing funnel drop-offs and optimizing acquisition channels.
  • Manage and direct specialist agency partners to implement SEO strategies and drive results.
  • Translate agency recommendations and data insights into actionable plans and prioritized backlogs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to brief, develop, and ship growth initiatives.
  • Conduct customer interviews and user session analysis to inform product development and roadmap decisions.
  • Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of growth initiatives and feed learnings back into prioritization.
  • Develop and maintain a ranked backlog for the growth surface, defending prioritization with clear reasoning.
  • Position the company for visibility in AI answer engines and generative search.
  • Lead the experimentation program for conversion optimization on the rebuilt intake process.
  • Explore and develop wider growth surfaces including landing pages, quality scores, lifecycle flows, and new channels.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5+ years in growth product, product management, or growth marketing with a direct revenue or conversion target.
  • Strong SEO experience with the ability to brief and challenge specialist agencies.
  • A numbers-oriented or technical background (engineering, analytics, or quantitative discipline preferred).
  • Proven track record of shipping products with engineering teams, including clear specifications and understanding of technical constraints.
  • Experience building and defending a prioritized roadmap with a stated impact model.
  • Direct experience with customer interviews and testing.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and a BI tool, with the ability to build estimates from first principles.
  • Understanding of two-sided marketplace dynamics, including supply constraints, liquidity, and matching.
  • Experience in conversion optimization and experimentation.
  • Familiarity with LLM or generative search visibility.
  • Experience with consumer products involving high-consideration, emotionally loaded, infrequent decisions (e.g., legal, health, finance, insurance).
  • Experience in early-stage or scale-up environments, comfortable with imperfect data and unfinished infrastructure.
