About the Role
Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is seeking a Part-Time Cafe Boulud Commis II who is passionate about food and cooking, eager to learn, and contribute to the culinary team.
Responsibilities
- Works with other team members to ensure a flawlessly executed final product.
- Reads and follows menus and recipes.
- Completes basic mathematical calculations.
- Works within a team environment.
- Continuous standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Lifts up to 50lbs.
Requirements
- Attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.
- Trained and certified in safe food handling.
- Proficient knife skills.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Outgoing personality.
- Can-do approach to any task.
- Minimum 1 year previous Kitchen/Cook experience in a fast-paced food and beverage operation.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Command of English language.
- Additional language is an asset for career growth.
- Food Handlers Certification is an asset.
- Must possess legal work authorization in Canada.
- Work permit sponsorship is not available.
