About the Role
As a BDR at Ben, you will build the pipeline for the enterprise business by identifying and engaging large, global employers. Your goal is to connect Benefits and Reward leaders with solutions that improve employee support and streamline benefits management.
Responsibilities
- Research the market using prospecting and research tools to identify and qualify enterprise accounts.
- Identify key decision-makers within target accounts, including Benefits and Reward leaders, CPOs, and CHROs.
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns across multiple channels (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate leads.
- Understand prospect needs to qualify them for Account Executive follow-up.
- Book meetings and provide Account Executives with necessary information for prepared client engagements.
- Maintain clean pipeline data and provide feedback on meetings to refine targeting and messaging.
- Achieve six Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) and three Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) per month once ramped.
Requirements
- Up to approximately 1 year of sales experience.
- Strong organization skills for managing sales pipeline and KPIs.
- Highly target-motivated with a drive to hit weekly and monthly KPIs.
- Passion for sales and helping people find the right solutions.
- Proactive approach to expanding knowledge of the product offering and market.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude, thriving in autonomy, rapid pace, and ambiguity.
- AI-literate, using AI daily for research, list building, copy, and call preparation, with the ability to interrogate AI outputs.
- Hands-on experience is required; candidates should feel confident contributing meaningfully from day one.
