About the Role
Lasorda Legacy Park is looking for Field Coordinators to join our team! This role will help run youth baseball tournaments, ensuring a memorable experience for all attending teams. Responsibilities include managing game schedules, collecting and inputting scores, and addressing rule interpretations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all games are running on time.
- Collect and input scores after game completion.
- Address and interpret rule questions.
- Supervise program activities in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations.
- Use a computer for extended periods of time.
- Communicate using a computer and phone/smart device.
- Lift and/or move up to 35-40 pounds.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Work flexible hours to include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
- Complete all other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Be responsible, flexible, hard-working, ethical, and committed to the mission of Steel Sports.
- Successfully complete the application process.
- Baseball Experience helpful but not required.
- Customer-focused and willing to go above and beyond.
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems in the moment.
