About the Role

The Growth Marketing team is responsible for driving new subscriber acquisition and profitability for Disney+ and The Disney Bundle. This role will support how the global growth marketing team maximizes first-party data and audience strategies to drive subscriber growth and retention for our streaming business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize workflows for distributing first-party audiences to global marketing platforms using data management tools.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on identity resolution frameworks and match rate optimization across paid media channels.
  • Project manage and provide updates on critical audience initiatives.
  • Regularly audit and update global and regional audience setups to comply with legal and data governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new audience segmentation use cases and coordinate data product requirements for paid media enablement.
  • Analyze audience and campaign performance data to identify opportunities for improved segmentation, reach, and activation efficiency.
  • Support the Senior Manager on projects related to future-proofing the Disney+ paid media martech stack.
  • Support A/B testing, incrementality studies, and other performance measurement techniques to validate and evolve targeting tactics.
  • Support the rollout of large-scale audience initiatives to improve audience targeting, frequency management, attribution, and media efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Ad Sales and Partnership teams on audience overlap analyses and opportunities.
  • Manage a team responsible for supporting the audience request queue, prioritizing workload, allocating resources, and overseeing execution of audience builds, activations, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing, deploying, strategizing on, and enhancing audience data sets & associated identity signals at a brand or agency.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong background in Marketing and Advertising Technologies, including experience with tag managers, DMPs, and CDPs (Liveramp, Hightouch, mParticle, Adobe, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of identity resolution strategies and frameworks, including the use of first-party and third-party identifiers for improved cross-device/environment audience recognition, targeting, and measurement.
  • Substantial knowledge of the global data privacy, legal, and compliance landscape, with familiarity with Consent Management Platforms.
  • Familiarity in managing a team or direct reports.
  • Familiarity with paid media use cases for a subscription business (e.g., subscriber suppression, shared account engagement, upsell opportunities, reducing wasted media spend).
  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing (e.g., engagement, retention, churn reduction, winback strategies).
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detailed oriented with proven success in process development and execution.
