About the Role
Wegmans Curbside Pickup is a fast-growing program looking for customer-focused team members passionate about servicing customers and helping them live healthier, better lives. As a Store Shopper, you will use the latest technology to engage with customers through an app, shop their orders, and stage them for pickup. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and providing customers with the freshest, best quality products.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders.
- Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in the fulfillment area.
- Properly handle product, use necessary equipment, and bag items to ensure safe transport.
- Accurately and efficiently scan items, make appropriate substitutions, and process payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
- Perform other customer service duties within the store as needed.
Requirements
- Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery, or retail setting.
- Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Must be 15 years or older.
