Responsibilities
- Partner with a dedicated Client Care Specialist who gathers client information.
- Leverage H&R Block's advanced technology to prepare returns.
- Use open-ended questions and active listening to understand client needs and identify tax savings opportunities.
- Recommend relevant products and services based on client needs, questions, and unique situations.
- Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance and resources.
- Continue building tax knowledge through ongoing training.
- Build strong client relationships and support office goals through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
- Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
- Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
- Comfort using digital tools and systems as well as AI-based tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT
- High school diploma / GED / equivalent
