About the Role
Help apprentices solve real business problems using AI and automation. Coach learners to build practical skills and work with employers to understand the problems apprentices are solving. This is a varied role involving coaching, delivering tutorials, developing materials, and employer engagement, offering autonomy and decision-making opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Mentor learners to deliver AI and automation projects that create real business value
- Work with employers to understand the business problems apprentices are solving
- Coach learners through their course materials and check their understanding
- Keep learning materials current and relevant
- Run tutorials and workshops
- Share expertise with the wider coaching team
- Champion AI and automation across the organisation
- Keep a record of interactions to satisfy regulatory requirements
- Safeguard children and vulnerable adults, in line with Safeguarding and PREVENT policies
Requirements
- A good STEM degree (Computer Science, Maths, or similar)
- An MSc in AI or Computer Science with AI, or equivalent demonstrable experience
- A genuine interest in emerging AI technologies and in helping others learn
- Great people skills and a genuine interest in supporting people to solve their business problems
- At least a year's industry experience (an industrial placement counts) - Desirable
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Copilot, Azure AI, Claude, AWS, Google, or equivalent platforms - Desirable
- Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation tools such as Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Claude Code, or equivalent - Desirable
- A solid grasp of LLMs, prompt engineering, and solution development - Desirable
- Share belief that what we do matters and makes a real difference to companies and people coached
