About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a Pre-K Lead Teacher for Before and After School Programs at Uriah Hill Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children and are seeking a schedule that aligns with the school day.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities, as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field.
- Child Development Associate Credential or another Office-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience).
- 9 Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field with a plan of study leading to an Associate's or other Office-recognized credential (with 2 years of experience).
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

Work Type

- Follows the school calendar
- Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am
- Afternoon Program: 2:15 - 6:00 pm

Salary/Compensations
- $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
