About the Role
The Director, Program Delivery will lead, own, and drive the execution of large, multi-asset, multi-year strategic initiatives. This role oversees multi-million dollar program budgets within Capital Markets and Quantitative Technology Services (QTS) divisions and requires a solid understanding of Capital Markets technology.
Responsibilities
- Own, define, and maintain a comprehensive multi-year strategic roadmap for Capital Markets and Quantitative Technology services portfolios.
- Own the centralized risk register for the entire portfolio, identifying risks, regulatory challenges, cross-program dependencies, and technical redundancy/obsolescence.
- Lead annual and multi-year investment planning cycles, provide accurate financial forecasts, burn rate analysis, ROI, and executive-level performance reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison to C-suite executives, providing transparent and timely communication on portfolio health and strategic process.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Program Managers, fostering a collaborative environment and making data-driven decisions.
- Establish appropriate governance and oversight for assigned initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related degree; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of strategic portfolio/program delivery experience in financial services technology.
- Proven experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Capital Markets.
- Recent/current director-level experience.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong structured, analytical, and methodological thinking.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies & tooling (JIRA, Confluence, Rally Central).
