About the Role

PwC's Salesforce practice is seeking a technical leader who thrives in the code. This is a hands-on role that will focus on architecting solutions, writing and reviewing code, and solving complex technical challenges—while mentoring developers and shaping technical strategy for the practice. You'll lead our next-generation AI initiatives, working directly with Agentforce, Data Cloud, and the Lightning Platform to build transformative solutions for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery teams of 5-10 developers on complex Salesforce implementations and architect end-to-end solutions—from data model design to integration patterns to AI agent workflows
  • Conduct hands-on code reviews, pair programming sessions, technical design workshops and make critical technical decisions on platform limits, scalability, performance optimization, and AI model selection
  • Translate client business requirements into technical specifications and development user stories
  • Mentor developers on advanced Apex patterns, LWC best practices, and AI implementation strategies
  • Establish coding standards, testing frameworks (unit tests with >75% coverage), and deployment best practices
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes using Salesforce CLI, Git, and deployment automation tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset)
  • Develop custom CPQ solutions, OmniStudio interfaces, and Industry Cloud implementations
  • Build AI agents and automation using Agentforce, Apex, Flows, and Einstein GPT—integrating large language models with Salesforce data
  • Design high-performance architectures processing millions of records using Data Cloud, batch Apex, platform events, and asynchronous patterns
  • Develop complex integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, external systems, and real-time event-driven architectures

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on Salesforce development with 3+ years in technical lead roles
  • Proficient in coding Apex and LWC
  • Deep expertise in object-oriented programming, design patterns (Factory, Strategy, Singleton), and governor limit management
  • Proven experience architecting and implementing complex integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware, event-driven systems)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, large data volumes (LDV), and performance optimization strategies
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and full SDLC—user stories, sprint planning, retrospectives, CI/CD automation
  • Familiarity with modern development practices: version control (Git), automated testing, code quality tools, pull request workflows
  • Experience with Lightning Web Components and Aura components for sophisticated user experiences with custom JavaScript frameworks
