About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Treasury Advisory for Complex Liquidity Solutions to lead the development and delivery of sophisticated treasury, liquidity, and working capital strategies that help clients optimize funding, cash flow, and operational efficiency. This role involves serving as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping integrated solutions, and driving revenue growth and product innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client and revenue growth initiatives by originating and shaping complex treasury, liquidity, and working capital opportunities.
  • Partner with GPL, Trade Finance, Merchant, and related product teams to develop integrated client solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on treasury strategy, liquidity optimization, funding efficiency, and working capital outcomes.
  • Influence treasury and liquidity product strategy through market insights, client feedback, and emerging trends.
  • Co-lead go-to-market execution with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Banking partners to drive adoption and revenue realization.
  • Design and deliver complex liquidity structures across cash, payments, trade, and foreign exchange capabilities.
  • Lead working capital optimization strategies including receivables, payables, inventory, and funding solutions.
  • Develop cross-border, multi-entity, pooling, netting, collateral optimization, and intraday liquidity solutions.
  • Translate complex regulatory, operational, and client-specific requirements into scalable solution structures.
  • Provide thought leadership on treasury, liquidity, and working capital trends impacting clients and product strategy.
  • Manage and develop teams, influence senior leadership, and drive alignment across highly matrixed organizations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience.
  • Proven success in sales leadership, treasury advisory, or client-facing solution roles within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of treasury banking products, including cash management, liquidity management, trade finance, payments, and working capital solutions.
  • Ability to influence both clients and internal product strategy.
  • Experience structuring complex, multi-product, non-standard liquidity solutions.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex solutioning into commercial outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
