About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, to safeguard clients in various industries. This role offers flexibility with scheduling and opportunities for career growth within a dynamic and collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, delivery zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and help maintain an orderly environment while providing clear directions and assistance.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
