About the Role
Crimson Education is seeking a sport-specific Athletic Strategy Consultant (Men's/Women's Volleyball) to mentor and support student-athletes aiming for collegiate athletics in the US. This role offers flexibility in work hours and client load, with potential for full-time growth.
Responsibilities
- Mentor student-athletes aiming to play collegiate athletics in the US, developing meaningful mentoring relationships.
- Meet with student-athletes via video chat every 2-4 weeks during active recruitment and every 3-6 weeks in earlier years.
- Maintain consistent communication with student-athletes via the tech platform and email.
- Hold student-athletes accountable for organizational and developmental tools.
- Evaluate film to provide feedback, instruction, and suggestions for recruitment videos.
- Research and discuss optimal camps and showcases for student-athlete exposure.
- Help student-athletes maximize their talent and develop as athletes.
- Develop clear, personalized, and intentional US College Athletic recruitment plans with realistic school list expectations.
- Guide student-athletes through their recruiting journey, ensuring they stay proactive.
- Advocate for student-athletes with US college coaches when appropriate.
- Update parents on student-athlete progress.
Requirements
- Experience playing and/or coaching at a top US-based university.
- Knowledge of US College and University options (NCAA D1, D2, D3).
- Knowledge of SAT/ACT, Academic Requirements, and NCAA Eligibility.
- Detailed understanding of the US College Recruiting process.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic planning and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- A passion for mentoring teenagers.
