About the Role

As a Server, your role is vital to ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience by ensuring guest needs are met efficiently and timely, while also maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. You are crucial to ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience, and we expect excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide them with exceptional service throughout their meal
• Guide guests through the menu, including making recommendations and answering questions
• Take accurate orders and enter them into our point-of-sale system in a timely manner
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper plate presentation and food temperature
• Monitor and anticipate guests’ needs and assist with any requests including refilling drinks, providing additional condiments and utensils as needed
• Respond appropriately to complaints and bring them to the attention of management
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down tables, cleaning tables and workspaces, and ensuring the restaurant is clean and tidy
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure the best possible dining experience

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of experience in a restaurant serving capacity preferred
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on their feet all day and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Standing for significant periods of time
• Walking, lifting, bending, and twisting movements
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds to move chairs and dining tables and transport orders to guest tables
