About the Role
Drury Hotels is seeking team members who will play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra, making our hotels stand out and keeping guests coming back.
Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members.
- Ensure exceptional and positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.
- Perform various hotel cleaning services to maintain guest rooms according to established standards.
- Visually inspect rooms to help identify needed maintenance items.
- Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information when requested.
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude.
- Assist in the laundry/clean public spaces when needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment at all times for our diverse team members and guests.
Requirements
- No previous cleaning experience required.
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
- Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Requires thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning supplies.
- Requires the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Requires the ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift.
- Requires the ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily work activities.
- Requires the ability to lift 25 – 35 pounds intermittently throughout the workday.
