About the Role
Join our team and help produce and maintain quality snow conditions through equipment operation, snow monitoring, and hands-on winter work. This role is available for the winter season, with potential for year-round positions.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain snowmaking equipment and systems.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Monitor snow quality and adjust equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic equipment repairs.
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment.
- Support team and mountain operations as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 20 years old.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable experience.
- Experience or education in construction, mechanical, electrical, heavy equipment, or related fields preferred.
- Able and willing to follow all directions from experienced snowmakers team members.
- Must be comfortable working at heights, overnight, and in extreme winter conditions.
- Physically demanding role requires working outdoors on steep, snowy terrain in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to get to and from work consistently and reliably in challenging weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk and work safely on steep, snowy, and icy terrain.
- Ability to work extended hours outdoors in all winter weather conditions and shifts.
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and reach frequently.
