About the Role
Blue Education is seeking a UK-based Marketing Content Creation Specialist to enhance its English-language and UK-facing content across various platforms. This role involves planning, writing, recording, and publishing high-quality content that showcases Blue Education's expertise, values, and student success stories to both UK and international audiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong English writing skills, social media judgment, confidence in video recording, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in UK education.
Responsibilities
- Plan content topics for UK-facing channels, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Create content ideas aligned with Blue Education’s premium brand positioning and target audiences.
- Build a regular content calendar around application cycles, education news, student milestones, events, partnerships, and company updates.
- Identify the most suitable format for each topic, including LinkedIn posts, Instagram reels, carousels, website articles, short interviews, and event content.
- Ensure all content reflects Blue Education’s academically rigorous, trustworthy, and high-end brand identity.
- Write polished English-language LinkedIn posts, Instagram captions, website copy, blog articles, tutor profiles, case studies, event pages, and short video scripts.
- Transform complex education topics into clear, credible, and engaging content for parents, students, schools, tutors, and education partners.
- Produce content around Oxbridge and G5 preparation, UK university admissions, private school admissions, academic enrichment, student outcomes, and Blue Education events.
- Edit, proofread, and refine content to ensure accuracy, tone consistency, grammar quality, and brand alignment.
- Record short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and website use.
- Coordinate simple filming sessions with tutors, consultants, students, academic leads, and internal team members.
- Capture event footage, behind-the-scenes content, office moments, short interviews, and speaker clips.
- Prepare interview questions, talking points, and simple shot lists before recording.
- Ensure recorded content has clear audio, strong framing, and suitable lighting.
- Work with editors, designers, or freelancers to turn raw footage into final social assets.
- Support the development and maintenance of website content, including blogs, service pages, tutor profiles, success stories, and event updates.
- Help improve how Blue Education communicates its expertise, services, results, and values online.
- Turn student outcomes, tutor expertise, and internal insight into compelling stories that build trust.
- Support SEO-friendly content creation where appropriate, while maintaining editorial quality and brand tone.
- Track relevant updates around UK university admissions, Oxbridge, G5 universities, A-Level, IB, private schools, and postgraduate applications.
- Monitor education-related conversations on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant UK-facing platforms.
- Identify timely content opportunities from deadlines, exam cycles, education policy, student milestones, and industry discussions.
- Observe competitor and sector content, then identify opportunities for Blue Education to stand out rather than repeat standard education marketing formats.
- Interview academic leads, consultants, tutors, students, and senior team members to collect stories and insights.
- Work with UK and China marketing teams to align message, timing, and brand presentation where relevant.
- Collaborate with designers, editors, and external freelancers to deliver high-quality content.
- Support events by preparing promotional content, capturing footage, and producing follow-up content.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in content creation, social media, marketing, communications, journalism, education marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent written English, with the ability to write accurate, polished, and engaging copy.

- Comfortable recording video content and coordinating simple filming.
- Strong ability to adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
- Good visual judgment, tone-of-voice awareness, and attention to brand consistency.
- Strong research, information-gathering, and editing skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently without waiting for every idea or instruction.
- Genuine interest in education, universities, student development, or international education.
