About the Role
Own public affairs for data center and power projects, including managing relationships with local officials, community groups, and the public record. Build community support through town halls and briefings, and manage project responses to media attention, hearings, and opposition. Partner with internal teams to ensure external messaging aligns with project realities.

- Own public affairs for data center and power projects: local officials, community groups, and the public record.
- Build support in the communities where we build: town halls, briefings, and the relationships that keep projects moving.
- Run the response when a project draws attention, media, hearings, and opposition, with a plan instead of a scramble.
- Partner with development, legal, and government relations so the external story matches the project reality.
Requirements
- Experience in public affairs or community relations for infrastructure, energy, or land development projects.
- Proven ability to manage skeptical audiences and de-escalate tense situations.
- Experience building coalitions of local stakeholders.
- Proficiency in fast and clean writing for talking points, letters, and testimony.
- Ability to track county-level politics effectively.
- Experience with data center or utility siting.
- Campaign or government experience.
- Crisis communications experience.
- Familiarity with Texas or upstate New York markets.
