About the Role
This position performs complex data analysis to support technology asset management tracking, analysis, and reporting within the Information Technology department. It assesses business practices, information, and industry trends to determine improvements and solutions, prepares technical reports, and supports asset management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Performs complex data analysis to identify factors affecting technology asset management tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Assesses business practices, information, and industry trends to determine improvements or solutions.
- Prepares technical reports by examining and summarizing data and creates specifications to support asset management operations.
- May oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects.
- Provides support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and improving team practices.
- Assists in streamlining daily workflow for the unit and resolves escalated matters.
- Implements recommended modifications and enhancements.
- May serve as an analytics resource to the wider organization or business units.
- Determines business needs through complex analysis and reporting.
- Develops strategies to achieve company and department goals and communicates them through specifications or project plans.
- Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities.
- Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement.
- May develop process enhancements based on reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting
