About the Role
First Citizens Energy Finance offers comprehensive financing solutions for renewable and conventional power generation, managing a diverse portfolio across the energy sector. This hybrid role focuses on acquiring, managing, and enhancing Energy Finance relationships, serving as the primary contact for clients' unique financial needs with senior secured debt financing for energy projects and structured corporate debt.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes direct calling and centers of influence (COIs) to develop relationships and generate financing for clients.
- Identifies sales opportunities through clients and referral partners.
- Stays informed on market and industry trends, and develops strategies based on changing market needs.
- Maintains and develops influential relationships within the market to create sales and referral opportunities.
- Manages customer and prospect relationships, referring sales partners or other associates as appropriate.
- Complies with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities to manage risk.
- Completes required training by established deadlines.
- Works in partnership with underwriting and portfolio management teams to package deals for Credit Administration approval.
- May act as a team lead, mentor or resource for less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Director Level: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales
- Senior Director: Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Sales
- 8+ years of Sales experience in Energy Finance/Renewable Energy within the Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets Industry (Director Level).
- 12 years of Sales experience in Energy Finance/Renewable Energy within the Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets Industry (Senior Director).

- Senior Director (NY/CA): $275,000 - $350,000
