About the Role

The Financial Risk Analytics team at S&P Global provides advanced products and solutions for financial institutions to manage counterparty credit risk, market risk, and derivative valuation adjustments. This role is key to supporting market expansion and providing strategic insights to sales and marketing teams within this specialized group.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a North America go-to-market strategy targeting buy-side institutions.
  • Originate new opportunities across Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, xVA, and related analytics workflows.
  • Engage senior stakeholders across Risk, Front Office, Quant, and Technology teams.
  • Position solutions as complementary to existing infrastructure (e.g., benchmarking, validation, workflow enhancement).
  • Partner with product and sales teams to shape proposals and progress complex sales cycles.
  • Provide market intelligence to inform commercial and product strategy.
  • Work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in capital markets, risk technology, or financial analytics business development.
  • Demonstrated track record selling or originating opportunities with North American buy-side institutions.
  • Strong domain knowledge in at least one of: Market Risk, CCR, xVA, or risk data infrastructure.
  • Established network within risk, trading, or quantitative functions.
  • Proven ability to drive consultative, solution-led engagements.
  • Highly proficient communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Personally engaging.
  • Able to positively engage with, and contribute to, the wider global team.
  • External candidates must attend at least one in-person interview at the nearest S&P Global office before an offer can be made.
  • Must have indefinite right to work in the United States.
