About the Role

Ramp is hiring a Senior Recruiter to lead critical searches across its G&A functions. These teams shape how Ramp grows, protects the business, and maintains a high bar as the company scales. The role involves owning searches from initial scoping through close, partnering directly with leaders across Recruiting, Risk, and other G&A functions. It requires developing fluency in supported areas, translating ambiguous business needs into clear hiring strategies, and bringing an independent point of view on talent. This is a hands-on role for someone strong in research, assessment, stakeholder partnership, and closing, comfortable challenging assumptions, navigating sensitive searches, and creating structure without slowing the business down.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across Recruiting, Risk, and other G&A functions, from intake and market mapping through offer and close.
  • Develop real fluency in the functions supported to identify signals that distinguish exceptional talent beyond title, company, and tenure.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to define the hiring thesis, calibrate the bar, and translate ambiguous needs into clear search strategies and interview plans.
  • Build proactive pipelines through market research, targeted sourcing, referrals, and thoughtful engagement with passive candidates.
  • Advise leaders using market intelligence, recruiting data, and candidate feedback to challenge assumptions and improve hiring decisions.
  • Run disciplined, high-velocity processes while delivering a personal candidate experience and leading thoughtful closing strategies for competitive hires.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant ownership of G&A, corporate, or specialized business-function searches.
  • Experience recruiting for functions such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, People, or Recruiting.
  • A track record of independently leading complex or senior-level searches from initial scoping through accepted offer.
  • Strong talent judgment and research instincts; ability to map a market, identify meaningful signals, and explain why someone is likely to excel at Ramp.
  • Credibility to advise senior leaders, challenge requirements, and influence hiring decisions through clear communication, market insight, and data.
  • Strong execution and closing skills, including comfort with AI-enabled recruiting workflows, ATS and funnel discipline, competing offers, and sensitive searches.
