About the Role
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, aiming to deliver 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. This role is critical in ensuring the supply chain enables rapid build-out and deployment of AI infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Execute purchasing across assigned categories, ensuring POs are cut same-day, confirmations are chased, and deliveries land on schedule.
- Own the order book, maintaining current statuses, escalating exceptions, and preventing silent slips.
- Resolve vendor issues including shortages, substitutions, and expedites, quantifying schedule impact.
- Maintain clean data in the ERP system to ensure accurate planning and finance operations.
Requirements
- Experience as a buyer in a fast-moving supply chain with a proven ability to manage a heavy PO load without errors.
- Demonstrated ability to chase confirmations diligently as the schedule depends on it.
- Experience expediting critical parts through constrained suppliers.
- Habitual attention to ERP data accuracy, including correct dates, prices, and quantities.
- Ability to escalate issues with assembled facts and a recommended solution.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or Zip.
- Experience in data center, construction, or electronics categories.
- Basic understanding of freight operations.
- Fluency in Excel and SQL.
