A family in San Francisco's Noe Valley neighborhood seeks a career nanny for their two children, ages 2 and 4. This child-focused role involves providing respectful, developmentally appropriate care in a fully staffed home. The ideal candidate will join the family long-term and contribute to their care team.
Responsibilities
- Provide full childcare for two children, fostering a warm and loving environment with age-appropriate activities for physical, social, and emotional growth.
- Engage children in local activities, playdates, and outings, researching new experiences both locally and during travel.
- Coordinate schedules for naps, meals, and activities, collaborating with another nanny.
- Maintain tidiness and organization of children's spaces and restock child-related items.
- Focus on the children, as a chef and housekeeper manage other household tasks.
Requirements
- Team player with excellent communication skills, keeping parents informed and comfortable with parental involvement.
- Enthusiasm for working with young children, understanding child development and milestones.
- Experience with multiple children, specifically toddler through elementary school age.
- Proactive and calm demeanor to manage a busy household.
- Comfortable supervising children in the water and possess confident swimming skills.
- Willingness to obtain TrustLine registration before the start date.
- Experience traveling with families, possessing a current passport, and readiness for international travel.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Tech-savvy, proficient with tools like Baby Connect and calendar management.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Currently residing within commuting distance of Noe Valley, San Francisco.
