About the Role
Mobile Associates work as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around products and services, thriving in a fast-paced environment where customer needs are the first focus. This role is a learning position, preparing associates for promotion to Mobile Expert upon training completion.
Responsibilities
- Learn and build proficiency in customer service while providing a best-in-class customer experience and building loyalty.
- Help customers by exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology.
- Provide personalized solutions beyond device and service plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
- Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and expertise.
- Approach service and sales needs with patience, honesty, and empathy.
- Become proficient in using digital tools to enhance interactions and onboarding.
- Demonstrate network coverage and plan benefits to customers.
- Redefine wireless services through device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
- Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, systems, and reference resources.
- Build relationships with and partner with employees across channels to collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues.
- Successfully identify and handoff small business leads.
- Develop strong peer relationships and accountability for company success.
- Provide first-class customer experience.
Requirements
- A strong desire to learn and master the skills required of customer advocates.
- Ability to build meaningful connections with customers.
- Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing best practices.
- Effectiveness in balancing customer experience and performance goals.
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
