About the Role

Support our journalism school in training the next generation of journalists. You will work at the intersection of journalism, communication, education, and innovation, creating and editing content, assisting with training formats, and contributing ideas for modernizing journalistic education with digital and AI-driven approaches.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit journalistic content for internal and external communication channels such as websites, newsletters, presentations, or informational materials.
• Research trends and developments at the intersection of journalism, media, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence, and present findings clearly.
• Structure and communicate training content such as events, dates, and projects of the journalism school in a clear and appealing manner.
• Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of training formats, workshops, and events.
• Develop ideas for modern learning formats, more efficient communication, and the use of AI applications in journalistic training.
• Coordinate appointments, documents, and organizational processes in daily business.
• Supervise journalism students, guest lecturers, trainers, and internal contacts.

Requirements

• Currently studying journalism, media or communication sciences, public relations, or a comparable degree program.
• Ideally possess initial experience in an editorial office, content creation, or social media marketing.
• Interest in digital media, AI tools, and innovative working methods.
• Enjoy writing, researching, editing, and creating content.
• Excellent language skills to prepare content clearly, precisely, and understandably.
• Maintain an overview in stressful situations, work in a structured and independent manner.
• Very good German (min. C1) and good English language skills.
