About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate 2-3 Agile squads with online and mobile deliverables within RBC's Digital Wealth Management department, supporting the Direct Investing business. You will be responsible for integrating work across squads and other IT departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and managing risks and issues effectively against the delivery roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple Agile squads, ensuring delivery against sprint goals and product roadmap commitments
- Facilitate collaboration and dependency management across multiple development teams
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; establish escalation protocols and resolution strategies for blockers and issues
- Provide regular updates to business and technical stakeholders; manage expectations and communicate status, risks, and changes
- Drive adherence to Agile methodologies, timelines, and quality standards; optimize team velocity and remove impediments
- Monitor team performance metrics and implement continuous improvements to delivery processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 3 years managing Agile/Scrum teams
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent squads or cross-functional teams
- Strong risk and issue management capabilities with proven mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
