About the Role
Join Our Lady of Mercy’s Memory Care Team Where Compassion Meets Innovation. Our Memory Care Unit is a place of dignity, comfort, and connection, and we’re looking for passionate caregivers to join us in making a difference. The environment itself is therapeutic—our Sky Simulator gently mimics the natural rhythms of daylight, helping residents feel more grounded, calm, and connected. It’s more than lighting—it’s a commitment to holistic care.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care to residents with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia
- Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team
- Engage in meaningful activities that promote cognitive and emotional well-being
- Be part of a unit that embraces innovation, empathy and excellence
- Provide hands-on nursing care under RN supervision
- Assist with treatments, procedures, and resident care activities
- Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team to collect data and help establish care priorities
- Contribute to the development and communication of individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor IV therapy per established standards
- Uphold all nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Offer compassionate support to residents and their families
Requirements
- Current New York State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- 1-year experience as an LPN, preferably in a Skilled Nursing setting
Work Type
- Part time
- Rotating Shift
- Day shift, 7a-3p
- Every other weekend commitment
- Weekend Track LPNs for 7a-7p or 7p-7a every other Saturday Sunday!
Experience Level
- 1-year experience as an LPN, preferably in a Skilled Nursing setting
Salary/Compensations
- $24.00 - $31.10 per hour
- $33.95 - $36.50/hour
