About the Role

PM Pediatric Care is the largest pediatric urgent care network in the country, founded by pediatric emergency physicians. Our mission is to provide high-quality, convenient, and accessible urgent care for children and young adults as an alternative to the emergency department. We offer a supportive, academically driven environment with comprehensive learning programs and a diverse case mix.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric and young adult urgent care patients in person and via telemedicine.
• Manage acute injuries and illnesses, including infections, respiratory distress, and abdominal pain.
• Perform procedural care such as abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair.
• Interpret X-rays (in applicable states) and oversee patient flow and office functions.
• Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, and reporting needed changes.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure completion of daily tasks, including lab and radiology result review.
• Maintain a safe, secure, equitable, and healthy work environment.
• Protect patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Update knowledge and skills through training, continuing education, and professional development.
• Assist with patient complaints and engage in service recovery.
• Focus on efficiency metrics to improve patient flow, antibiotic stewardship, and patient experience.

Requirements

• Ability to think critically, multitask, and work as part of a team.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with EMR (eCW experience preferred).
• BC/BE in Pediatrics.
• Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience.

• $110,000 - $180,000
