About the Role
As a Senior Market Logistics Dispatcher, you will act as the liaison and team leader for Market Logistics Dispatchers, managing transportation and delivery operations to ensure prompt equipment handling according to customer expectations and company/DOT standards. This role also involves temporarily filling in for Logistics Managers when they are absent.
Responsibilities
- Review daily and weekly driver logs in accordance with company and DOT standards.
- Maintain and rectify any Hours-of-Service violations or unidentified logs.
- Monitor and action First Run Out and Time on Yard reporting to improve truck utilization and driver efficiency.
- Act as training lead for new hires in MLO operations.
- Schedule truck repairs to improve truck efficiency.
- Investigate escalated customer complaints professionally to ensure customer and Sunbelt satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to Counter and Service Departments regarding timely equipment delivery and receipt.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
- High School Education
- Working knowledge of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Logistics or Dispatching experience
- Customer Service experience required
- Able to effectively communicate.
