About the Role
We are looking for customer-focused individuals to join our Utility Division, working on the Thames Water contract to deliver effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems. This role involves traveling to residential sites in a two-person team, operating high-pressure water jetting equipment, and performing various drainage maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Travel to residential sites via HGV in a two-person team, powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration
- Clean, clear, and maintain drainage systems
- Record job reports correctly on specialist equipment
- Run diagnostics and repairs on drains
- Deliver good customer service
- Maintain good health and safety practices while carrying out works
- Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished
- Comply with health and safety responsibilities, including PPE and safe site setups
- Utilize VISTEC and Salesforce platforms
- Operate JHL specification vacuum tankers and associated equipment
- Safely access vehicle cabs, sites, and offices using correct procedures
- Manipulate flexible pipework safely, including loading and unloading
- Work unsupervised in all weather conditions, wearing correct PPE or utilizing the lone worker system
- Dynamically risk assess site access and working conditions
- Liaise with the client regarding process and updates
- Provide support to colleagues
- Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment, and plant before and after use
- Report any defects or malfunctions
- Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and responsibilities
- Perform any other reasonable ad-hoc tasks, duties, or projects as requested by management
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of a HGV Class 2 licence
- Must have completed the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Must have an up-to-date digi tachograph card
- Ability to work safely to quickly diagnose and deliver practical and efficient solutions
- Hard working and respectful
- Comply with health and safety standards

Salary/Compensations
- OTE £50,000 per annum (basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)
