About the Role
In this critical role, you will ensure our organization is known for being the best in everything we do, delivering absolute quality and compliance while keeping our promises. You will work on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.
Responsibilities
- Travel to residential sites via HGV in a two-person team, around the region powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration.
- Clean, clear, and maintain drainage systems.
- Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
- Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
- Deliver good customer service.
- Maintain good H&S practice while carrying out works.
- Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished.
- Comply with health and safety responsibilities, including PPE and safe site setups, protecting Lanes Group employees, the public, and other road users.
- Utilize VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
- Liaise with the client regarding progress and any updates.
- Work unsupervised in all weather conditions utilizing correct PPE and lone worker systems.
- Dynamically risk assess site access and working conditions depending on specific circumstances on arrival.
- Provide support to colleagues.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment, and plant before/after use.
- Report any defects or malfunctions.
- Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception.
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them.
- Perform any other reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by management.
Requirements
- Ability to work safely to quickly diagnose and deliver practical and efficient solutions to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Hard working and respectful.
- Comply with health and safety standards.
Skills
- High Pressure Jetting equipment operation (useful but not essential)
- NRSWA (advantage)
- Confined Spaces (advantage)

Salary/Compensations
- OTE £34,000 per annum (made up of basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)
