About the Role
The Landscape Designer position is a developmental landscape architectural role supporting project teams by designing project portions and addressing landscape architectural issues. Employees will develop and demonstrate proficiency in essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD and related software to complete assignments on time and within prescribed standards.
- Draft documents and perform computations.
- Participate in the design process, understanding industry-standard Conceptual through Construction Administration design phases.
- Provide opinions of probable costs.
- Manage project schedules.
- Prepare construction-related services.
- Complete edits and modify plans as reviewed by agencies, municipalities, and clients.
- Complete site visits as required.
- Communicate with Project Manager on workload status, schedule, and tasks to meet designated chargeability goals.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with the design of landscape architecture projects.
- An advanced understanding of technical skills pertaining to your region.
