About the Role

A Personal Trainer is responsible for providing personal training services to help members maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, and enhance their overall sense of well-being. They are expected to spend the majority of their work week member-facing, delivering personal training, onboarding, or complimentary services, and educating members on Life Time's Core 3 Brand and Philosophy.

Responsibilities

  • Develops safe, professional, exciting, and comprehensive personal training programs.
  • Monitors and instructs clients on the safe and effective use of fitness equipment.
  • Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends.
  • Conducts fitness consultations for new clients, including assessments and goal setting.
  • Refers members to appropriate personal trainer levels based on their needs.
  • Fulfills member service requirements, including fitness assessments, equipment operations, service desk duties, and equipment cleaning.
  • Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
  • Completes administrative requirements for client fitness plans.
  • Stays current on certifications and industry trends.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of personal training experience
  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • CPR and AED Certified
  • Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition, and program design
  • Ability to perform aerobic activity for the duration of a class
  • Ability to bend, stand, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds

Salary/Compensations
