About the Role

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for their After School Program at Lee F. Jackson Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, possess energy, kindness, and patience, and enjoy fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure children are engaged, safe, and having fun.
  • Maintain program quality aligned with Healthy Kids Programs' model.
  • Ensure the site is fully staffed daily with prepared and supported teachers.
  • Operate the site in compliance with all required ratios.
  • Maintain accurate and current records.
  • Ensure the program is ready for inspection at any time.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and materials for teachers.
  • Restock supplies before they run out.

Requirements

  • Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks.
  • Must be medically fit to perform job duties, including a clear TB test.
  • Must be warm, friendly, professional, and reliable.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Experience Level

  • Two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age (with HS diploma)
  • One year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (with Credential)

Education Level

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential
  • Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field

Salary/Compensations

  • $17.50 per hour
