About the Role
The Client Development & Engagement (CDE) function supports the Firm’s growth strategy by integrating business development, marketing, events, and communications. This team collaborates with Partners and cross-functional teams on high-impact initiatives, leveraging data and insights to drive sustained growth and enhance client experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, management, and execution of Firm-sponsored events, focusing on regional events of varying complexity.
- Manage event budgets, monitor expenses, process invoices, and conduct post-event reconciliation and ROI analysis.
- Provide end-to-end event management, including venue and vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, invitation strategy, and onsite execution.
- Establish and maintain event standards and protocols to ensure excellence and exceptional client service.
- Identify opportunities to optimize event planning processes and leverage new event technology.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with venues, caterers, hotels, and other service providers.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various departments to ensure smooth event progression and achievement of strategic objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Office of General Counsel, internal stakeholders, and external vendors for a seamless contracting process.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with West Coast event-related service providers.
- Maintain the integrity of the Firm’s CRM and event management systems with accurate data entry.
- Coordinate and execute the Los Angeles-based client holiday gifting program.
- Support other special projects and Firm initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and offices.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of relevant events management experience.

- Demonstrated experience using a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred.
- Experience in a professional services office environment preferred.

Salary/Compensations
- The estimated base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $210,000 at the time of posting.
- The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
