About the Role
TD Innovation Partners (TDIP) is a full-service technology banking platform delivering bespoke, high-touch financial solutions to support technology entrepreneurs at every stage of growth. This role offers exposure to complex credit transactions while supporting fast-scaling companies in the market.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of technology banking clients.
- Own the credit underwriting and due diligence process, including financial models, credit and documentation, and principal investment applications.
- Assist with portfolio growth by structuring competitive financing packages while maintaining a balanced view on risk mitigants and credit quality.
- Engage in client meetings to understand due diligence and make recommendations.
- Assess credit risk in compliance with internal and external requirements to increase profitability and enable business growth.
- Recommend credit applications to Directors and Risk Management.
- Mentor and assist Associates in monitoring and control activities of the portfolios.
- Stay informed about market conditions and industry developments to enhance the bank's position in the technology sector.
- Work and collaborate in a team environment to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in Commercial Banking, finance or accounting.
- Experience in the technology ecosystem is advantageous.
- Ability to travel as required.
- French is a plus.

Salary/Compensations
- $96,900 - $136,800 CAD
- This role is temporarily eligible for a pay premium above the posted salary range that is reassessed annually.
- The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
